ATTENTION OIL AND GAS OPERATORS: (3/20/2024) - Oil and Gas Program staff are currently in the process of rulemaking for produced water recycling facilities. A draft rule has been created, and we invite your participation in an open house for questions and discussions scheduled for April 17 at: Utah Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) 195 North 1950 West; Room 1015; Salt Lake City, UT 84116 Or you can register to participate virtually by April 10, 2024, by sending an email to dwmrcpublic@utah.gov using the subject line "E&P Waste Stakeholder Meeting Registration" and include the following information: 1 Name of Facility 2 Name of Attendees 3 Email Address to be Registered 4 Comments and Questions. Those who register to attend virtually will be sent a meeting link via email. We aim to finalize the rulemaking process by December 2024.
