October 28, 2010 Notice of Proposed Rule Change (Informal Rulemaking Process)

The Division briefed the Board of Oil, Gas & Mining at a public meeting on October 27, 2010 on a Minerals Program rule proposal primarily to consolidate annual fees and annual reports to one consistent due date of January 31. Interested parties may review the proposed rules and also provide comments as outlined in the attached document click here. Permittees should be aware that the earliest possible effective date would be April 2011, so the current rules are in effect until the Board renders a decision in a formal rulemaking process.
