Electronic Data Input Help Pages

These pages are designed to provide information to assist users with the EDI process.  If you want to go directly to the database, click the WATER DATABASE navigation button on the left of the screen or click here.

The main EDI web page for data uploading and processing is located at: http://linux1.ogm.utah.gov/cgi-bin/appx-ogm.cgi  Once here, click on the EDI LOGIN button at the bottom of the page.  Use your ogm*** login ID and password which has been assigned to your mine.  If you do not know or remember your login information, email Dana Dean or call (801) 538-5320.

The EDI file format page provides file specifications, information and an example of the standard EDI comma delimited file format. 

The database structure for tables used in the database are described here.  If you would like to download, click HERE to access the DOGM FILES site where you can download source files as a comma delimited file (*.cdf) or an Excel file (*.xls).

The Errors & Warnings page provides information about the various Warnings and Errors encountered during EDI data processing.  It's purpose is to assist coal operators in determining the nature of EDI data errors and warnings and to enable online data verification and correction prior to updating the Water Quality Database.  

The Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) page provides information useful for entering and updating DMR data.  This includes company information, UPDES parameters and limits, and how to use the DMR web site to produce your own company specific DMR reports.  These forms can be completed and submitted to the Division of Water Quality to report your monthly discharge information.
